This is an unplugged ceremony! What does that mean?

An unplugged ceremony means keeping your phone off and hidden from the start of the ceremony until the very end. Please do NOT take photos or videos during the ceremony - we have some amazing photographers and videographers lined up and we promise the photos will be shared with you after.

Is there a theme for the Weekend?

We are fully embracing everything Hawaii from bright vibrant colors to full floral. We truly want you to have the most amazing time enjoying everything ‘Aloha.’

Best way to get around the island

Rental cars are available at the Kahului International Airport. Alternatively, transportation can be arranged through your hotel of choice. Uber is available on the island; however, it is an approximately 30 minute drive from the airport to Wailea. Additionally, the Four Seasons Maui offers a complementary car service across the town of Wailea.

Are Children Allowed?

Yes and no. Children are welcome to attend the Welcome Luau and Farewell Brunch. However, children will not be a part of any celebrations on December 21st. The Four Seasons offers various kids camps during the day. For after-hours childcare, the Four Seasons recommends Nanny Connection, which can be booked directly: www.thenannyconnection.com

What is the weather like in December?

The average daytime temperature in Wailea is around 75˙F/ 23˙C with highs reaching 80˙F/ 26˙C and lows around 65˙F/ 18˙C. Wailea is located on one of the drier areas of the island; however, there is always a potential for a rain shower. Reef-safe sunscreen is complementary and located throughout the Four Seasons Maui resort. Most, if not all resorts in the area have complementary kiosks with reef-safe sunscreen.

Are there shops nearby?

Yes! The Shops at Wailea are a quick 15 minute walk from the Four Seasons Hotel. Additionally, there are small shops located within the Four Seasons Hotel.

What is the Wailea Beach Path?

The Wailea Beach Path stretches almost 2 miles north/ south along the water and beaches of Wailea. The path connects to major resorts like the Four Seasons, the Fairmont Kea Lani, the Grand Wailea, and the Andaz.

Checkout time at the Four Seasons Maui

Checkout time at the Four Seasons Maui is 11am. However, the hotel offers a travel lounge which can be accessed post checkout. The lounge includes showers, a changing room, and various amenities.
